SUMMARY:Festival of Health
DESCRIPTION:Bringing traditional NHS\, clinical and social care practitioners together with professionals from housing\, transport\, employment and education – this is a platform for networking and connected learning like no other.\n\nAgeing populations and rising patient expectations\, together with increasing costs in the face of substantial budget constraints for health and social care\, require innovative solutions. A growing consensus is emerging that if healthcare is to be sustainable it must move its focus from treatment of ill health to prevention. Moreover\, maintaining and improving the population’s health requires a greater focus on the wider social determinants of health. \nJoin 5\,000 delegates for an inspirational 2 days where we’ll explore innovative case studies from across the UK – as well as international health systems. And with a promise of practical\, insightful information with a focus on action and change\, walk away with real insights and new ideas to inspire population health initiatives in your locality. \nThe PMA will have a presence at this event but it is not organised by the PMA. If you have any queries relating to this event\, please contact the organisers using the link provided. Many thanks.
